Orchid et Swallowtail Shawl

Bonjour !

Hi! I can finally show you Orchid , it's just finished and I love it !

Pattern : Orchid from Kim Hargreaves book " Nectar "
Yarn : Bergere de France Annecy in black
Needles : 2.5 and 3mm

Orchid is not a difficult pattern to follow , the peplum was a real pleasure to knit .

I have been searching for "the " right shawl pattern for a long time but there are so many beautiful patterns
and so many gorgeous creations that it took me very long to decide myself .
I chose the " Swallowtail Shawl " , it's a free pattern you can find here .
And I found this yarn on www.loopyarn.com , this is alpaca and wool from Isager and it's so gorgeous !
I love the colour and the texture .
If you want to know more about this yarn ,
go on Knitters Review website to see Marianne Isager yarns and her daughter's collection , "Amimono " (which means "knitting" in japanese ).

C'est tout pour aujourd'hui ! A bientôt !

That's it for today ! Bye bye !
